Abstract
Nizar Qabbani (1923-1999), como representante de la joven poesía árabe, muestra en sus poemas la pasión amorosa como núcleo temático. Aquí analizamos las cinco imágenes, constantes en su poesía, para estudiar el simbolismo de Qabbani: la tierra, el mar, el fuego, la fauna y la flora. Nizar Qabbani (1923-1999), representative of the young Arab poetry, shows in his poems the affectionate passion as its central subject. Qabbani’s symbolism is analysed through five images always present in his poetry: Herat, sea, fire, animals and flowers.
