Abstract
El análisis estructural de la convivencia humana permite descubrir que la unidad de los hombres es mayor que la unidad del «con-» (situacional); se trata de una unidad filética. Esta unidad filética tiene tres momentos: diversidad, versión y prospección; y estos momentos estructurales son los que configuran las dimensiones individual, social e histórica del ser humano. Zubiri aborda las distintas caras de lo social y lo histórico desde la consideración de su asentamiento estructural, real. En función de las estructuras de la convivencia, el hombre tiene un determinado modo de habérselas (habitud) con los demás, lo que permite abordar situacionalmente lo social (mentalidad, comunidad y comunión) y lo histórico (tradición). El análisis de la historicidad aporta elementos fundamentales para una consideración práctica de la filosofía de Zubiri. La tradición se entiende como entrega de formas de estar en la realidad en la forma de posibilidades para la realización. Esta entrega ha constituido la esencia de la historia (proceso de posibilitación de modos de estar en la realidad) y la historicidad (proceso de capacitación). Con todo ello se puede entender la historia como proceso abierto en el que el hombre se encuentra en un esfuerzo continuo de humanización, capacitación y liberación. La persona busca en el proceso histórico aquellas posibilidades que le permiten realizarse como absoluto.
