Abstract
El Islam nace en un marco geográfico que debe compartir con las dos grandes potencias de la Antigüedad Tardía, el Imperio Bizantino y la Persia sasánida. Oriente Próximo es un hervidero religioso y la aparición de la nueva fe despertó múltiples reacciones, generalmente de rechazo, ante un inminente fin del mundo y la Parusía Islam was born at a time when the two greatest powers of the Late Antiquity, the Byzantine Empire and the Sasanian Persia were dominating. The Middle East is a religious swarm and the appearance of a new faith causes multiple reactions, essentially of rejection, due to the imminent end of the world and the Parusia
