El libro como obra plástica

Abstract

El objetivo del presente trabajo es analizar e investigar sobre el libro como obra plástica, el origen del soporte libro a lo largo de la historia y como éste, ha evolucionado e introducido en el panorama artístico, convirtiéndose en la obra de muchos artistas. También se realiza una clasificación de la tipología del libro de artista y sus máximos exponentes. Por último se conforma la memoria del proceso de trabajo de la obra “Libro introspectivo” realizada como trabajo práctico del proyecto.The aim of this paper is to analyse and to do a research into the book as a plastic work, the origin of the "support book" along history, and to explain how it has evolved and entered the artistic panorama, becoming the work of many artists. A classification of the typology of an artist's book and its greatest exponents is also made. Finally, the memory of the "paper process" of the work "Libro introspectivo", realized as a practical work on the project, is shaped.
