En esta tesis doctoral se han desarrollado dos sistemas que permiten profundizar en el análisis del movimiento desde una perspectiva biomecánica. Para ello se utilizan técnicas fotogrameticas tridimensionales basadas en la utilización de vídeo y/o cinematografía. El primer sistema desarrollado, denominado ciborg, auna todas las herramientas necesarias para la realización de un análisis fotogrametrico tridimensional. El segundo sistema permite el desarrollo de modelos gráficos humanos que simulan de forma realista la morfología humana, así como su movimiento. este segundo sistema se denomina mono 3d
