Main Characteristics Associated with the Assignment of Custodies After the Divorce Jiménez Cabello, José Manuel Becerril Ruiz, Diego This research focuses on an analysis of the sociological variables that affect the way that custody is awarded after a marital breakup, specifically after the divorce of married heterosexual couples. A quantitative methodology has been used based on Statistics on Annulments, Separations and Divorces and data for various rates in Autonomous Communities gathered from the Spanish National Statistics Institute (INE).
