Quantum Transfiguration of Kruskal Black Holes Ashtekar, Abhay Olmedo Nieto, Javier Antonio Singh, Parampreet We present a new effective description of macroscopic Kruskal black holes that incorporates corrections due to quantum geometry effects of loop quantum gravity. It encompasses both the “interior” region that contains classical singularities and the “exterior” asymptotic region. Singularities are naturally resolved by the quantum geometry effects of loop quantum gravity, and the resulting quantum extension of the full Kruskal space-time is free of all the known limitations of previous investigations of the Schwarzschild interior. We compare and contrast our results with these investigations and also with the expectations based on the AdS/CFT duality. 2024-02-02T11:23:06Z 2024-02-02T11:23:06Z 2018-12-10 journal article Physical Review Letters 121, 241301 (2018) https://hdl.handle.net/10481/88011 https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevLett.121.241301 eng http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/ open access Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internacional American Physical Society
