      <dc:description>This work documents the presence of six new freedmen. Their names are collected in an unpublished&#xd;
inscription from the town of Domingo Pérez, in the Montes Orientales region (Granada),&#xd;
a border area in southern Hispania between Baetica and Tarraconensis. The inscription&#xd;
is deposited in the Archaeological and Ethnological Museum of the city. The most outstanding&#xd;
is Q. Pomponius Subulcus, a cognomen hitherto undocumented neither in Hispania, nor in the&#xd;
Roman world.</dc:description>
