Euphorbia esula L. ; Euphorbia helioscopia L. ; Euphorbia lathyris L. ; Euphorbia palustris L. ; Euphorbia pilosa L. ; Euphorbia pilulifera L. Euphorbia resinifera Berg. ; Ingenol ; Ingenol esters ; HPLC. High performance liquid chromatography has been developed for the identification and quantitation of ingenol in homoeopathic mother tinctures of 8 Euphorbia species. The ingenol es ter s were hydrolyzed with KOH in methanol and the free ingenol was analyzed by C18 RP column using methanol-water (60 : 40 V/V) as the mobile phase. The ingenol content ranged from 0. 5 ug/ml to 16. 7 ug/ml. Euphorbia resinifera Berg. mother tincture was found to be the richest in ingenol. On the other hand, ingenol content was not significant in E. amygdaloi"des L. or E. pilulifera L. mother tinctures. 2023-07-10T11:06:29Z 2023-07-10T11:06:29Z 1991-12-20 journal article Paphassarang, S.; et al.
