The aim of the study is to develop an experimental methodology for the development of leadership competence of future teachers of physical education. Experimental verification of the methodology for the development of leadership competence of future physical education teachers was carried out using a pedagogical experiment during of 2021–2022 academic year. We selected to participate in the experiment 125 students in Poltava V. G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University and teachers University of Ukoopspilks «Poltava University of Economics and Trade», Poltava State Medical University. Research methods: theoretical; empirical; research work to test the effectiveness of methods for developing leadership competence of future teachers of physical education; methods of statistical data processing.
