Analysis and guidelines to obtain a good uniform fuzzy partition granularity for fuzzy rule-based systems using simulated annealing Cordón García, Óscar Fuzzy rule-based systems Data base Fuzzy partition Granularity Simulated annealing Inteligencia artificial Artificial intelligence In this contribution, we will analyse the importance of the fuzzy partition granularity for the linguistic variables in the design of fuzzy rule-based systems (FRBSs). In order to put this into effect, we will study the FRBS behaviour considering uniform fuzzy partitions with the same number of labels for all the linguistic variables, and considering uniform fuzzy partitions with any number of labels for each linguistic variable. We will present a method based on Simulated Annealing (SA) in order to obtain a good uniform fuzzy partition granularity that improves the FRBS behaviour. It is an efficient granularity search method for finding a good number of labels per variable. 2022-11-10T09:02:30Z 2022-11-10T09:02:30Z 2000-10-25 journal article Oscar Cordón, Francisco Herrera, Pedro Villar, Analysis and guidelines to obtain a good uniform fuzzy partition granularity for fuzzy rule-based systems using simulated annealing, International Journal of Approximate Reasoning, Volume 25, Issue 3, 2000, Pages 187-215, ISSN 0888-613X, [https://doi.org/10.1016/S0888-613X(00)00052-9] https://hdl.handle.net/10481/77873 10.1016/S0888-613X(00)00052-9 eng http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/ open access Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internacional Elsevier
