Desarrollo y estudio fotofísico de nuevas sondas fluorescentes y su empleo en la detección de miRNAs como biomarcadores González García, María del Carmen García Fernández, Emilio Orte Gutiérrez, Ángel Universidad de Granada. Programa de Doctorado en Farmacia Sondas fluorescentes miRNA Biomarcadores Fluorescent probes Biomarkers Fluorometric techniques are currently being widely employed in biosensor developing owing to their great accuracy and sensitivity. However, accurate quantification in biological samples can be quite challenging due to some interferences such as heterogeneity of samples, localized accumulation of fluorophore or autofluorescence. Therefore, there is an urgent need for finding new fluorescent molecules and methodologies that are capable of overcoming such difficulties. To meet this objective, this PhD Thesis proposes the development of new methodologies and nanoplatforms based on time-resolved fluorescence microscopy techniques and time-gated analysis that allow improving specificity by eliminating unwanted contributions through the use of fluorophores with long luminescence lifetimes. 2022-10-03T12:27:10Z 2022-10-03T12:27:10Z 2022 2022-07-26 doctoral thesis González García, María del Carmen.
