In this essay I focus on what I denominate as processes of personalization, in order to clarify the social sense of the dichotomy of individual / society. The history cannot be narrated in the third person. The distance that the anthroplogist needs in order to know and rationalize disappears. The scenario and those that act in it are not the references that guide these consumerist itineraries, bur rather they are part of the spectacle centered on the client. The client is the protagonist, converting himself in the builder and reference in a world constructed to his measure. Perhaps the implicit question of the “non-places” popularized by Marc Augé are surprising. Realizing what I consider to be nothing more than a jump forward of illustrated positions, I place my focus of interest in an experiential consumption, in which we find consumption itself, as a motor and mophology of fundamental routes in instanteniety and non-continuity, that serves as a better metaphor for this experience. There is not any predefined ritualization, and the significance of the myth disappears, as a condensor of sense and finality that could confer movement. The invisible hand once more! This is the thread of Ariadna that must be followed in order to get anywhere. 2011-01-31T08:59:05Z 2011-01-31T08:59:05Z 2000-05 info:eu-repo/semantics/article Rodríguez Regueira, José Luis.
