Percepciones identitarias en Paraíso en la tierra, de Kjartan Fløgstad Leonardo Loayza, Richard Ángelo Kjartan Fløgstad Paraíso en la tierra Literatura noruega Imagología Estereotipo Prejuicio Norwegian Literature Imagology Stereotypes Prejudices En este artículo se aborda la crítica que Kjartan Fløgstad lleva a cabo en Paraíso en la tierra sobre la manera cómo escandinavos y latinoamericanos se perciben mutuamente. Dicha percepción identitaria parte del estereotipo, el cual permite construir una imagen del otro sustentada en el prejuicio. Si bien la novela de Fløgstad afronta las dos percepciones, lo cierto es que enfatiza en la de los europeos sobre los latinoamericanos, al evidenciar el maltrato y la marginación que experimentan estos últimos cuando migran a los países de los primeros. Para lograr el objetivo propuesto se apelará a algunos aportes teóricos de la imagología contemporánea. This article aims to show that in Paradise in the Land of Kjartan Fløgstad there is a critique of the way Scandinavians and Latin Americans perceive each other. This identity perception is based on stereotype, which builds an image of the other that is supported by prejudice. Now, although Fløgstad’s novel addresses both perceptions, the truth is that it emphasizes that of Europeans over Latin Americans, evidencing the mistreatment and marginalization that the latter experience when they migrate to the countries of the former.
