Pion structure at high and low energies in chiral quark models Ruiz Arriola, Enrique Jona-lasinio model Cone wave-function SU(3) NJL model Light cone Form factor Quantum chromodynamics Distribution amplitude Exclusive processes Renormalization group Parton distributions Presented at the XLII Cracow of Theoretical Physics, Zakopane, Poland, may 31-june 9, 2002. Low and high energy properties of the pion are reviewed in the framework of chiral quark models. Particular emphasis is put on the simplest version of the SU(2) NJL model as prototype. The role of gauge invariance in this kind of calculations is stressed. The results are used as initial conditions for perturbative QCD evolution equations. At leading order the quark model scale is μ0 ∼ 320MeV as determined from the pion distribution functions and the pion distribution amplitudes. 2014-07-07T08:50:23Z 2014-07-07T08:50:23Z 2002 info:eu-repo/semantics/article Ruiz Arriola, E.
