      <dc:description>Este artículo pretende arrojar nueva luz sobre los acontecimientos que sucedieron en torno a la conquista del reino nazarí de Granada al principio del gobierno del sultán Nasr (1309-1314). A partir de las fuentes árabes y cristianas, crónicas y documentos de archivo, se puede deducir claramente que la Triple Alianza organizada por el rey aragonés Jaime II, entre el reino de Castilla, el reino de Aragón y el sultanato de Fez, con el objetivo de atacar, conquistar y eliminar el reino de Granada de la Península Ibérica en el 1309, fue vencida por la decidida intervención militar y la hábil diplomacia del sultán Nasr. El trabajo destaca el decisivo papel del rey nazarí en estos acontecimientos, junto a algunas precisiones y rectificaciones a lo ya conocido al respecto.</dc:description>
      <dc:description>Aims to throw new light on the events that happened around the conquest of the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada at the beginning of sultan Nasr rule (1309-1314). From the Arabic and Christian sources, chronicles and archival documents it might be safely inferred that the Triple Alliance organized by James II, the King of Aragon, between the Kingdom of Castile, the Kingdom of Aragon and the Sultanate of Fes to attack, conquest and remove the Kingdom of Granada from the Iberian Peninsula in 1309, was defeated by sultan Nasr’s firm military control and expert diplomacy. The study highlights the decisive role of the Nasrid King in these events, and provides some precisions and rectifications on what was known about this until now.</dc:description>
