Text complexity also plays a central role in the EU-funded project ”Level-Adequate Texts in Language Learning”, which aims to promote the reading competence of learners of German as a foreign language by developing innovative materials and online tools. This article shows how experts from the fields of second language didactics, computational linguistics, language assessment and e-learning work together in this research project and how text complexity is interpreted and handled practically in these disciplines. 2025-01-30T11:58:46Z 2025-01-30T11:58:46Z 2024 book part Kienberger, M.
