Abstract

El estudio examina las prácticas musicales y de danza en la corte aragonesa de Nápoles durante el siglo XV, destacando su integración en ceremonias políticas y festividades urbanas. Se analiza la organización de entradas triunfales hasta celebraciones privadas. Además, el artículo explora el repertorio coreico y musical, subrayando la interacción entre la tradición popular y las manifestaciones cortesanas, y presenta nuevas perspectivas sobre la transformación de géneros como la cascada y la moresca, reflejo de la multiculturalidad del reino napolitano-aragonés.

The study examines the musical and dance practices at the Aragonese court in Naples during the 15th century, highlighting their integration into political ceremonies and urban festivities. It analyzes the organization of triumphant entries and private celebrations. Additionally, the article explores the choreographic and musical repertoire, emphasizing the interaction between popular traditions and courtly expressions, and presents new perspectives on the transformation of genres such as the cascada and the moresca, reflecting the multiculturalism of the Neapolitan-Aragonese kingdom.
