Abstract

El Sistema para la Autonomía y Atención a la Dependencia se enfrenta en la actualidad a impor tantes dificultades que hacen peligrar su acción protectora, no viéndose reflejado el apoyo y compromiso de cambio en los presupuestos generales del Estado. Atendiendo a las diferentes reformas aprobadas en los últimos años en la materia y a su incidencia constatada tras varios años de aplicación, en el presente estudio se analiza el catálogo de prestaciones de servicios, no siendo el objetivo de este trabajo el de realizar un análisis pormenorizado de las diferentes prestaciones que conforman el catálogo de servicios, sino el de describir la situación actual e identificar los principales retos a los que se enfrentan las prestaciones de servicios en la actualidad y las previsiones de futuro para su atención. A tal fin, en primer lugar, se realiza un breve recorrido por el catálogo de servicios del sistema de dependencia. En segundo lugar, se centra la atención en las diferentes medidas adoptadas en los últimos años con incidencia en las prestaciones de servicios, concediendo especial interés a la finalidad principal que se pretende alcanzar con cada una de ellas.
