La «construcción» del franquismo en Andalucía. Perspectivas teóricas y metodológicas

Abstract

Con el presente artículo pretendemos abordar, desde planteamientos novedosos, el estudio de las actitudes sociales que contribuyeron a la edificación y el sostenimiento de la dictadura franquista. Centraremos nuestra atención en la región andaluza, insistiendo en las fracturas políticas, morales, culturales y sociales que dividieron al tejido social andaluz durante la Segunda República y sus repercusiones sobre la gestación de los muy heterogéneos apoyos sociales prestados al Nuevo Estado. Asimismo, aplicaremos las premisas teóricas de aquellas tradiciones historiográficas interesadas en el análisis de las formas de colaboración ciudadana con los órganos represivos y policiales de los Estados totalitarios, fascistas o fascistizados de la Europa de entreguerras.

With this article we intend to make an approach, from innovative methods and new historiographical sources, to the study of the social attitudes that contributed to the building and sustaining of the Francoist dictatorship. We will focus our attention in the Andalusia region, insisting on the political, moral, cultural and economic fissures that fragmented the Andalusian society during the Second Republic, and re-examining its impact on the gestation of the very heterogeneous social supports provided to the Francoist New State. In addition, we will enforce the theoretical premises of those historiographical traditions occupied in the analysis of the different forms of collaboration with the authorities and the repressive tools of the totalitarian and fascist states of interwar Europe.
