La experiencia exiliar desde las narrativas de mujeres en Revista Araucaria de Chile

Abstract

Este artículo analiza la experiencia exiliar de mujeres a partir de sus contribuciones narrativas a la Revista Araucaria de Chile (1978-1989), en particular se revisan los textos publicados en la sección "Un millón de chilenos", distinguiendo los diversos tipos de reflexiones acerca de la experiencia exiliar e identificando las principales discusiones acerca del exilio. En un primer apartado se contextualiza la presencia narrativa de mujeres en la sección “Un millón de chilenos” estableciendo una categorización entre los tipos de reflexiones que se desarrollan. En los siguientes tres apartados se aborda cada uno de los tipos de narraciones, a partir de un análisis de los textos, para identificar las principales líneas argumentales que dan cuenta de esta experiencia. En la conclusión se recogen algunas discusiones propuestas en los textos para organizar los aportes de las narrativas exiliar de mujeres al campo de discusión, que exponen la importancia de la cultura impresa exiliar y las principales líneas interpretativas que las mujeres otorgan al exilio desde sus narrativas.

This article analyses the exile experience of women from their narrative contributions to the Araucaria de Chile magazine (1978-1989), in particular the texts published in the section "Un millón de chilenos" are reviewed, distinguishing between the type of reflections about the exile experience and identifying the main discussions about exile that are proposed. To this end, the first section contextualizes the narrative presence of women in “Un millón de chilenos” during the first stage of the magazine's circulation, establishing distinctions between the type of reflection they develop. In the following three sections, each of the types of narratives is approached from an analytical description of the texts, which allows identifying the main lines of argument to account for the exile experience. In the conclusion, some discussions proposed in the texts are collected to organize the contributions of women's exile narratives to the field of discussion, which expose the importance of the exile print culture and the main interpretative lines that women give to exile from their narratives.
