Puesta en valor del paisaje cultural de Jumilla: aproximación a través de una propuesta artística.

Abstract

Nuestro objeto de investigación e intervención artística es el paisaje cultural Denominación de Origen Protegida de Jumilla (Murcia), ligado a la agricultura de la vid. Basándonos en la concepción de Alan Roger sobre la configuración del paisaje mediante la artealización, conformado por intervención matérica in situ y participación in visu del observador activo, nos planteamos como objetivo diseñar una construcción artística contemporánea en consonancia con huellas patrimoniales del paisaje jumillano, concretamente los denominados ‘cucos’, construcciones vernáculas a modo de refugios. Como conclusiones resaltamos la conjunción de diferentes elementos perceptivos en la obra que, una vez ubicada en uno de los parajes del paisaje que nos ocupa, servirá para promocionar el enoturismo de un modo más activo que la mera visualización de narrativas audiovisuales por parte del visitante propias de parques temáticos; y la adecuación formal, material y conceptual de la nueva construcción con el patrimonio de este paisaje cultural.

Our object of research and artistic intervention is the cultural landscape of the Protected Designation of Origin of Jumilla (Murcia), linked to the agriculture of the vine. Based on Alan Roger’s conception of the configuration of the landscape by means of artealisation, made up of material intervention in situ and in visu participation of the active observer, we set ourselves the objective of designing a contemporary artistic construction in line with the heritage traces of the Jumilla landscape, specifically the so-called ‘cucos’, vernacular constructions in the form of shelters. As conclusions we highlight the conjunction of different perceptive elements in the work which, once located in one of the spots of the landscape we are dealing with, will serve to promote wine tourism in a more active way than the mere visualization of audiovisual narratives by the visitor, typical of theme parks; and the formal, material and conceptual adequacy of the new construction with the heritage of this cultural landscape .
