Explorando la realidad LGBT en Japón: Desafíos, avances y perspectivas futuras

Abstract

Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado analiza la situación actual de la comunidad LGBTQIA+ en Japón, centrándose en los cambios sociales y la percepción del colectivo LGBT en Japón. El estudio examina la lucha por los derechos y la igualdad en un contexto patriarcal y tradicional, explorando temas como la historia LGBT en Japón, el género e identidad, la homofobia y el acoso escolar. Además, se investigan las iniciativas y los movimientos sociales que promueven la aceptación y el entendimiento del colectivo. A través de una encuesta y entrevistas, se recopilan datos que revelan la brecha entre el pensamiento político y la opinión pública en cuanto a la aceptación de la diversidad sexual y de género. Los hallazgos demuestran la necesidad de un cambio social y la importancia de continuar investigando y promoviendo una sociedad más inclusiva y respetuosa hacia el colectivo LGBT en Japón.

This bachelor’s thesis examines the current situation of the LGBTQIA+ community in Japan, focusing on social changes and the perception of Japanese LGBT collective. The study explores the struggle for rights and equality in a patriarchal and traditional context, addressing topics such as LGBT history in Japan, gender and identity, homophobia, and school bullying. Additionally, it investigates initiatives and social movements that promote acceptance and understanding of the LGBTQIA+ community. Through a survey and interviews, data is collected to reveal the gap between political thoughts and public opinion regarding the acceptance of sexual and gender diversity. The findings demonstrate the need for social change and highlight the importance of ongoing research and advocacy for a more inclusive and respectful society for the LGBTQIA+ community in Japan.
