La era de la irracionalidad política global

Abstract

Este artículo pretende contribuir al debate intelectual sobre las raíces de la crisis del mundo actual. La tesis que se desarrolla se basa en la relación orgánica de los diversos factores perturbadores que la han desencadenado. Se argumenta que aquellas formulaciones teóricas que intentan disociar la naturaleza dialéctica de los campos del conocimiento, siguiendo la estricta división del trabajo académico, se muestran claramente insuficientes. Por ende, he intentado aquí ponerlos en relación histórica, comparativa y conceptual que es como lógicamente se desarrollan y actúan. Desde esta perspectiva metodológica, acontecimientos como el terremoto especulativo que desencadenó la Gran Recesión de 2008, la pandemia global provocada por el coronavirus covid- 19, así como la llegada al poder de regímenes autoritarios extendidos por la geografía global, o la extraordinaria espiral descendente de las clases medias y el profuso deterioro de las condiciones laborales que han brotado en casi todo el mundo, entre otros, no son considerados como elementos aislados de la variable temporal, antes bien, constituyen la variable dependiente de casi medio siglo del proyecto neoliberal.

This article contributes to the intellectual debate on the roots of the current global crisis. The thesis developed here is based upon the organic relationship of the various disruptive factors that it has unleashed. It is argued that those theoretical expressions which intend to disassocicate the nature dialectic from the fields of knowledge, following a strict academic division of labor, are shown to be clearly insufficient. Therefore, here we have attempted to place them in a historic, comparative and conceptual context that shows their logical development and outcomes. From this methodological perspective, we account for the speculative earthquake that led to the Great Recession of 2008, the global pandemic of the covid-19 coronavirus, as well as the coming to power of authoritative regimes throughout the globe, as well as the extraordinary tailspin of the middle class and the sharp decline in working conditions that have come to pass throughout the world, which are not considered as isolated, short-lived elements, but rather they constitute an essential variable from almost a half-century of the neoliberal project.
