Abstract

Se trata de la transcripción de la mesa redonda que tuvo lugar en la Fundación Euroárabe de Altos Estudios el día 27 de noviembre del 2018 con motivo de la preserntación del libro Tawa'if. Historia y Arqueología de los reinos de taifas. Los textos fueron revisados y adaptados en forma de artículo. El resultado es una interesante reflexión sobre cuestiones como los orígenes de los reinos de taifas, las causas de su esplendor, y sus manifestaciones arqueológicas y epigráficas.

This is the transcript of the round table that took place at the Euro-Arab Foundation for Higher Studies on November 27, 2018 on the occasion of the presentation of the book Tawa'if. History and Archaeology of the Taifa Kingdoms. The texts were revised and adapted in the form of an article. The result is an interesting reflection on issues such as the origins of the Taifa kingdoms, the causes of their splendor, and their archaeological and epigraphic manifestations.
