Abstract
The great social transformations taking place in the southeast of the Iberian Peninsula, and specifically in Granada (Spain) between the XIII-XIV until the XVIIth centuries, had a clear material manifestation in the pottery report that circulating in the privileged environments occupied by oligarchy Nazari and later for the Castilian one. In this paper we propose to realize an analysis of these changes from the comparative study of two archaeological contexts. On the one hand, Moclín Castle, Nazari fortress of border, after the Castilian conquest passes into a late-feudal castle. On the other hand, the Palace of the Abencerrajes at the Alhambra, that after the conquest became a house for private use. We face two fields Nazari foundation and a strong Castilian reoccupation. They offered us a clear sequence of transition between the Nazari pottery and the purely Castilian productions, breaks and continuities can be observed.
