Aixa Portero. Las raíces del vuelo

Abstract

Monographic tour of the Malaga artist and professor at the University of Granada Aixa Portero, in the period from 2018 to 2019, with texts by Manuel Mateo Pérez, Noemí Méndez, Iván de la Torre Amerighi and Fernando Francés, which, from an introspective, philosophical and poetic point of view, show how her work deals with the Culture of Peace and Non-Violence, and defends that culture is deeply rooted in mother nature... The Root / The Roots of Flight", a monographic exhibition held at the National Museum of Contemporary Art of Belarus in Minsk from 11 September to 10 October 2018. This project was funded by the Belarusian Embassy in Spain (Belarus-Spain: convergences), and toured the city of Vitebsk (Marc Chagall Art Center) in the same country between 10 December 2018 and 14 January 2019. -Raíz Natura", developed at the Galería la Cometa in Bogotá, Colombia, between 18 June and 26 July 2019.
