Abstract
Este capítulo reflexiona y analiza, desde una perspectiva crítica del trabajo social, los procedimientos y prácticas “occidentales” en las funciones profesionales de los trabajadores sociales. trabajo e intervención social en el Sur de España, que tienen una aplicación limitada para personas y comunidades con ascendencia colonizada, y que permanecen en funcionamiento sin ser cuestionado. This chapter reflects and analyzes, from a critical social work perspective, “Western” procedures and practices in the professional functions of social workers. work and social intervention in the South of Spain, which have limited application to people and communities with colonized ancestry, and who remain in operation without being questioned.
