Educar na infância em/com/para os Direitos Humanos

Abstract

Este artigo, sob formato de ensaio, tem por objetivo refletir sobre os sentidos de uma educação infantil em/com/para os direitos humanos. Realiza uma análise crítica com abordagem qualitativa de documentos que versam os direitos humanos e segue com problematizações teóricas acerca da educação infantil. Também faz articulação com tirinhas da personagem Mafalda que faz indagações sobre questões que frequentemente violam os direitos humanos. Para avançar no entendimento da temática, Benevides (2007) provoca contribuições teóricas, apresentando três pressupostos da educação para os direitos humanos: permanência, continuidade e globalidade; mudança cultural; e a promoção dos valores humanos. Conclui-se que a relevância dos processos reflexivos perpassarem as diversas práticas educacionais e estratégias que compõem a formação das crianças é uma possível saída para as afrontas aos direitos humanos dentro e fora das instituições de educação infantil – entendendo a educação como uma aposta ético-política, inspirado em Arendt (2019).

This essay aims to reflect on the meanings of early childhood education in/with/for human rights. It performs a critical analysis with a qualitative approach of documents that deal with human rights and follows with a theoretical problematization about early childhood education. It also articulates with comic strips of the character Mafalda, which asks questions about issues that frequently violate human rights. To advance in the understanding of the theme, Benevides (2007) provokes theoretical contributions, presenting three understandings of human rights education: permanence, continuity and globality; cultural change; and the promotion of human values. It is concluded that the conversion of reflective processes that permeate the various educational practices and strategies that make up the formation of children is a possible way out of the affronts to human rights inside and outside the institutions of early childhood education – understanding education as an ethical-political bet, inspired by Arendt (2019).
