Patrimonio escolar: las colecciones artísticas de las Escuelas del Ave María de Granada

Abstract

Introducción: El patrimonio cultural del Ave María es el testimonio de un legado educativo y social. Un conjunto de bienes materiales y inmateriales que trenzan la historia de la institución a la sociedad de Granada. Su conocimiento, su difusión y puesta en valor constituye el primer activo para mantener viva la imagen y el legado avemarianos así como de su fundador, Andrés Manjón.

Método: Se trata de una revisión de fuentes que permitan dibujar transversalmente el horizonte patrimonial del Ave María, enfatizando en el trabajo de documentación que se ha realizado así como las carencias que todavía hoy se detectan.

Resultados: El proceso de inventariado y catalogación del patrimonio mueble e inmueble dibuja un conocimiento científico claro, arrojando luz sobre las estrategias oportunas en materia de gestión y tutela de los bienes culturales de la institución.

Conclusiones: La mirada y la conciencia patrimoniales de la sociedad es una realidad creciente. La necesidad de desarrollar estrategias que permitan la puesta en valor y difusión de los bienes culturales parece constituir un imperativo al que las Escuelas del Ave María atienden con compromiso y perspectiva de futuro.

Introduction: The cultural heritage of Ave Maria is the testimony of an educational and social legacy. A set of tangible and intangible assets that weave together the history of the institution to the society of Granada. Its knowledge, its dissemination and its enhancement constitute the first asset to keep alive the Avemarianos image and legacy as well as its founder, Andrés Manjón. Method: It is a review of sources that allow drawing across the heritage horizon of Ave María, emphasizing the documentation work that has been carried out as well as the deficiencies that are still detected today. Results: Conclusions: The process of inventorying and cataloging the movable and immovable heritage draws a clear scientific knowledge, shedding light on the appropriate strategies in terms of management and protection of the institution’s cultural assets.
