This software has been implemented for teaching purposes as a component of the SeLa Teaching Project. It allows to simulate observations of a normal distribution, giving its descriptive measures and confidence intervals. This program has been conceived to illustrate: (1) The different profiles (histograms) that can show the empirical data of a random variable with normal distribution and how they are affected by the sample size; (2) The random nature of the statistical indices obtained from the sample; (3) The distribution of the sample mean; (4) The concept of standard error of the mean; (5) The random nature of the confidence intervals; (6) The effect of the sample size and the confidence level on the confidence intervals; (7) The concept of coverage regarding the confidence intervals.es_ES
