Las perlas en la terapéutica de Félix Palacios y Juan de Loeches

Abstract

A lo largo del siglo XVIII podemos encontrar algunas obras interesantes escritas por farmacéuticos españoles. Entre estos farmacéuticos podemos destacar a Juan de Loeches y Félix Palacios. El primero, por su obra Tyrocinium Pharmaceuticum Teorico-practicum Galeno-chimicum, y el segundo, por su Palestra Pharmaceutica Chymico-galénica. Nosotros hemos centrado nuestro trabajo en el estudio de la actividad que las Perlas presentan en estas dos obras. Para hacerlo posible, hemos comparado las fórmulas de ambas obras viendo si la actividad, que ambos autores dan a las Perlas, es la misma.

During the 18th century we can find sorne interesting works written by spanish pharmaceutical. Juan de Loeches and Félix Palaciones out among them. The first one because of his book Tyrocinium Pharmaceuticum Teoricopracticum Galeno-chimicum, and the second one because of his Palestra Phar maceutica Chymico-galenica. We have centered our work in the study of the activity that the Pearls present in both of these books and if there is sorne evolution to detach in the use of them in the formulas in which the appear through these books. To make it possible, we have compared in which formulas the Pearls appear in each book and if the activity is the same.
