Y el miedo que las canciones / inspiran en los tiranos: el rap y la Resistencia palestina

Abstract

En este trabajo se pretende analizar la relación entre el rap y la política en el marco de uno de los conflictos más importantes del mundo árabe contemporáneo: la ocupación y la resistencia palestina. Para ello, se estudiará el desarrollo del rap en el mundo árabe, se relacionarán diferentes letras de canciones con los acontecimientos histórico-políticos de la región, y se analizará el uso de la palabra como herramienta de lucha y denuncia.

The main objective of this study is to analyse the relationship between rap and politics in the context of one of the most important conflicts in the contemporary Arab world: the occupation and the Palestinian resistance. To this end, we will study the development of rap in the Arab world, relate different song lyrics to historical and political events in the region, and analyse the use of words as a tool for political struggle and denunciation.
