El vínculo afectivo entre arquitectura y territorio

Abstract

La evolución y la rápida transformación del territorio ha separado la sociedad del medio natural. Conceptos como orientación, topografía, humedad y estructura del territorio se desvanecen, las dinámicas humanas se disocian de las naturales sin entender sus tiempos y, por tanto, los modelos arquitectónicos ofrecen una respuesta única: “satisfacer las necesidades inmediatas del individuo” sin tener en cuenta el medio en que se emplaza. Entendiendo la arquitectura como la experiencia del oficio de la construcción a lo largo de la historia sobre el territorio debería ser, por tanto, la expresión del propio territorio. El problema radica cuando el objeto resultante, ya sea de un modo estético o funcional se repite sin reflexión alguna, pasando por alto que existe un vínculo afectivo que conecta a la humanidad con la tierra. No es posible que un elemento arquitectónico se disocie del soporte que lo alza, ¿qué estamos haciendo mal?

The evolution and rapid transformation of the territory has separated society from the natural environment. Concepts such as orientation, topography, humidity and structure of the territory vanish, human dynamics are dissociated from natural ones without understanding their times and, therefore, architectural models offer a unique answer: "satisfy the immediate needs of the individual" without taking into account account of the environment in which it is located. Understanding architecture as the experience of the construction trade throughout history on the territory should therefore be the expression of the territory itself. The problem lies when the resulting object, whether in an aesthetic or functional way, is repeated without any reflection, ignoring the fact that there is an affective bond that connects humanity with the earth. It is not possible for an architectural element to be dissociated from the support that raises it, what are we doing wrong?
