La dinámica del movimiento feminista marroquí tras la primavera democrática a partir de dos memorándums

Abstract

Desde 2011 el movimiento feminista en Marruecos ha conocido una nueva dinámica marcada por las movilizaciones de la Primavera democrática y el proceso de reforma constitucional. En este artículo se presenta la traducción del árabe al español de dos memorándums que constituyen un reflejo de esta nueva etapa y de la acción del movimiento feminista a través de sus coaliciones. El primero es el Memorándum explicativo sobre la reforma constitucional de 2011 enviado por la Coalición Primavera Feminista para la Democracia y la Igualdad al presidente de la Comisión Consultiva para la Reforma de la Constitución. El segundo es el memorándum presentado por la Coalición Primavera de la Dignidad en 2015 para defender el derecho de la mujer a la interrupción voluntaria del embarazo ante el comité encargado de elaborar propuestas sobre el tema del aborto.

In 2011 the feminist movement in Morocco entered a new dynamic, influenced by the mobilizations of the Democratic Spring and the constitutional reform process. This paper showcases the Arabic-Spanish translation of two memoranda that are a reflection of this new phase and of the actions undertaken by the feminist movement through its coalitions. The first is the Explanatory Memorandum on the 2011 Constitutional Reform, which was sent by the Feminist Spring Coalition for Democracy and Equality to the president of the Constitutional Reform Advisory Committee. The second is the memorandum defending a woman’s right to elective termination of pregnancy, which was presented in 2015 by the Spring Dignity Coalition to the committee in charge of drawing up proposals regarding the issue of abortion.
