Abstract

La producción de la artista germano suiza Meret Oppenheim, cuestiona con aguda ironía la tradición pictórica y literaria. Su imaginario onírico se revela en poemas que se prolongan en imágenes, cuadros traducidos a poemas y objetos cotidianos que, liberados de su función, escapan de la rutina transformándose en una inquietante realidad artística. La turbadora y sutil perversidad de Le déjeuner en fourrure, juego de taza, plato y cucharilla de desayuno forrados con piel, se convirtió en pieza emblemática del surrealismo, aunque no el nombre de su autora ¿acaso porque se trataba de una mujer?
