20 años de investigación española sobre la lengua y la literatura rabínicas (1981-2001)

Abstract

Los estudios rabínicos en España son hijos de los estudios targúmicos. De alguna manera, el padre de todos ellos es el Prof D. Alejandro Díez Macho ( …1984). La primera obra de importancia para los estudios rabínicos fue la traducción de la Misnah de Carlos del Valle (Madrid 1981). Desde entonces han pasado 20 años de fecunda producción, en los que han aparecido ediciones y traducciones de textos, así como serios estudios lingüísticos, literarios, teológicos e históricos, y otros de divulgación. La panorámica que aquí se ofrece es una recopilación con vistas a su enriquecimiento futuro.

Rabbinic Studies in Spain derive from Targumic Studies. Father of both of them is Prof. Alejandro Díez Macho ( … 1984). The first important work in the field of Rabbinics is the Mishnah translation by Carlos del Valle (1981). Since then 20 years of fruitful research have followed: first editions and translations, several linguistic, theological and historical studies, and many minor works of popularization as well. I will present an index of results of this intensive work and a tentative look at the work to be done in the near future.
