Abstract

Este artículo es un estudio histórico y bibliográfico sobre el trabajo realizado en España sobre los manuscritos del Mar Muerto. El autor aporta una detallado estudio bibliográfico enumerando todos los trabajos publicados en España o en español sobre los textos de Qumran desde su descubrimiento hasta nuestros días. Este artículo intenta mostrar la contribución por parte de los estudiosos de la Biblia y los filólogos españoles a esta área de estudio e investigación. También se recogen los momentos más importantes que estos documentos han vivido en los últimos cincuenta años y su repercusión en el mundo de la cultura y la investigación.

This paper is an historical and bibliographical study looking at the work done in Spain on the manuscripts of Dead Sea. The author gives a detailed bibliographical study listing all of the published works in Spain or in the Spanish idiom about the Qumran texts since their initial discovery until now. This paper endeavours to demonstrate the contribution, on the part of Spanish biblical scholars and philologists to this area of study and research. Also its presents the most important moments that these documents have lived through in the last fifty years and their repercussions in the cultural world and the world of research.
