Los Apócrifos del Antiguo Testamento en la investigación española

Abstract

La investigación española sobre los Apócrifos del Antiguo Testamento, aunque se había iniciado con anterioridad, adquirió verdadera relevancia a partir de 1980. Ello fue debido al proyecto de publicación en español de todos los apócrifos traducidos de la lenguas originales, dirigido por el Prof. A. Díez Macho (Ed. Cristiandad, 1982-1987). Junto a ese proyecto hay que destacar la traducción de los textos de Qumrán del Prof. F. García Martínez, ya que en entre esos textos se encuentran restos de Apócrifos del AT ya conocidos y obras nuevas que ayudan a clarificar el concepto mismo de "apócrifo del AT". Por otra parte son abundantes los trabajos de investigación que abordan cuestiones de escatología, antropología y mesianismo en los Apócrifos. También existen buenas exposiciones de alta divulgación, como las que ofrece especialmente la revista "Reseña Bíblica". Entre las síntesis más completas y actuales se encuentra la publicada el Vol. IX de la colección " Introducción al Estudio de la Biblia". Entre las tareas todavía pendientes están el completar la colección iniciada por Díez Macho y el integrar los resultados de los estudios sobre los Apócrifos en otras áreas de la investigación bíblica y teológica.

The Spanish research on the Old Testament Apocrypha, although it had begun in the fifties, had true relevance since 1980. This was due to the project of publication of the OT Apocrypha in Spanish under the direction of Pro f. Díez Macho (Ed. Cristiandad 1982-1987). Besides that project it is importan! to highligth the translation of Qumrán texts by Prof. F. García Martínez. Those texts contain parts of OT Apocriypha already well-known and new works that help to clarify the concept of "OT Apocryha". On the other hand there have been numerous scho1ar works on the OT Apocrypha, that approach questions of eschatology, anthropology and messianism. There are also more popular works, as they have been published in "Reseña Bíblica". Among the most complete and modern syntheses of the OT Apocrypha in Spanish is Vol. 9 of the collection "Introducción al Estudio de la Biblia" . Still pending tasks are the completion of the collection started by Díez Macho and the integration of the results of the studies on the Apocrypha in other areas ofthe Biblical and Theologica research.
