Algunas aportaciones judías a la obra de J.L. Borges

Abstract

Ante todo debo aclarar que no intento entrar en la tan conocida polémica sobre si Borges está cercano al Judaísmo o si Borges es ajeno al Judaísmo. Lo que me interesa en este artículo es el estudio de algunos hipotextos de la obra borgiana. Trato de subrayar aquéllos que proceden del filósofo judío Baruk Spinoza y algunos procedentes de la Cábala, los comparo con el uso literario interpretativo que Borges hace de ellos.

First of all I don't try to participate in the very well-known controversy between two opinions: if J.L. Borges is close to Judaism vs. Borges ignorant or strange to Judaism. I am only interested in the study of the Jewish hypotexts of the Borgian works. I would Iike to emphasize those which come from the Jewish philosopher Baruk Spinoza and sorne from the Kabbalah, and confront these texts with Borges' literary interpretation of them.
