Para una historia de la judería de Huete. Datos y documentos

Abstract

Tomando como base las informaciones de una serie de 20 piezas documentales, se tratade recomponer -ampliándolos con otras informaciones fragmentarias- diversos aspectos del panorama de la judería de Huete (Cuenca), sobre la que apenas se han conservado fuentes, en los años finales del siglo XIV. La fecha de esa documentación -1400, el año que cierra dicha centuria- la hace más valiosa, al no hallarse muy lejana a la del pogrom sufrido por la misma en 1391.

Taking as the basis the information of 20 documents, it's a question of reconstruction -including other fragmentary informations- diverse aspects about the scene of Huete's jewry (Cuenca), which has hardly been kept up sources, in the late XIVth century. The date of this information -1400, last year of this century- makes it more valuable as it's not so far from the pogrom that it suffered in 1391.
