La Calle-Barrio, un contenedor de oportunidades. Un retrato del Zaidin desde la Avenida de Dilar.

Abstract

Todo barrio posee una calle con el suficiente potencial descriptivo como para sintetizarlo. La calle barrio sería aquella que contiene una actividad más intensa, capaz de establecer un mayor número de relaciones e intercambios, asumiendo así una mayor responsabilidad. Se presenta como una herramienta de observación a través de la cual se pueden leer los materiales urbanos que conforman la unidad barrial. La avenida de Dílar, calle barrio del Zaidín, es el punto de vista desde el que se propone analizarlo y entender sus relaciones, así como reconocer su área de influencia para el proyecto futuro. Esta calle, como forma de aproximación al barrio, participa del territorio que lo emplaza y comunica; de la trama que lo origina y estructura; de los espacios colectivos que contienen la actividad urbana, social y económica; y de la imagen que lo identifica.

In every neighbourhood there is a street with enough descriptive potential so as to synthesize it: the neighbourhood street. It is the street where most activity takes place, able to host most of the social and economic relations, playing a major role within the neighbourhood. The neighbourhood street can be used as an observation instrument to study the urban elements that compound the neighbourhood unit. Dílar Avenue, neighbourhood street of Zaidín, will be the approach towards the analysis of this neighbourhood, in order to understand its exchanges and its impact on its influence area, and take it into consideration in future projects. This street, as a representation of the neighbourhood, partakes in the territory that locates and communicates it, in the urban pattern that originates and structures it, in the collective space where the urban, social and economic activities are hold, and in the image that identify it
