Mujer y extranjera. Relatos de cuatro mujeres que se desplazan geográficamente en la segunda mitad del siglo XX

Abstract

Este texto explora las relaciones de subordinación en que se han visto envueltas cuatro mujeres, de clase media acomodada, provenientes de Alemania, Argentina, Checoslovaquia y Chile, y que en la década de los años 1960 y 1970 se trasladaron a vivir a Suecia. A partir de sus relatos y memoria, se ve de qué manera la situación histórica y sociopolítica de sus respectivos países de origen influyeron en sus experiencias y formas de enfrentar las dificultades en que se han encontrado en sus vidas. Sus relatos abarcan un período de medio siglo, desde los años 1950 hasta finales de los años 1990.

This text explores the subordination relationships in which four women, from the comfortable middle class, have been wrapped up, coming from Germany, Argentina, Czechoslovakia and Chile. They moved to live in Sweden in the decades of the 1960s and 1970s. Starting from their stories and memory, the author studies how the historical and sociopolitical situation of their origin countries influenced in their experiences and ways of facing the difficulties they encountred in their lives. Their stories embrace a period of half century, from the years 1950 to final of the years 1990.
