Adaptación al acogimiento residencial; caso práctico residencia escolar “Maestro Sánchez Chanes”

Abstract

Este proyecto tiene el objetivo de conocer la adaptación al entorno residencial de los alumnos que acuden a este tipo de instituciones. Para llevar a cabo esto, he realizado una aproximación al campo en la residencia escolar “Maestro Sánchez Chanes” durante seis meses y medio. Con la elaboración del marco teórico, establecí varias líneas en las cuales quería centrarme para conseguir comprender la adaptación de los alumnos. Estas líneas fueron su situación familiar, el comportamiento de los niños/as y adolescentes, tanto dentro como fuera de la residencia y la visión que se tiene de estos niños por personas ajenas a la residencia. Finalmente, con la ayuda de las entrevistas realizadas y los datos recogidos en el diario de campo, propongo un proyecto de intervención para mejorar la adaptación al acogimiento residencial de los alumnos/as de esta residencia.

This project has the objective of knowing the adaptation to the residential environment of the students who attend these institutions. In order to carry out this, I have been able to make an approach to the field in the school residence "Maestro Sánchez Chanes" for six and a half months. With the elaboration of the theoretical framework, I established several lines in which I wanted to focus in order to understand adaptation. These lines were the family situation of the students, the behavior of children and adolescents, both inside and outside the residence and the vision of these children by people outside the residence. Finally, with the help of the interviews carried out and the data collected in the field diary, I propose an intervention project to improve the adaptation to residential care of the students of this residence.
