Creación de contenidos digitales en futuros maestros de Primaria

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación se propone describir la autopercepción de aquellos alumnos que están iniciando el Grado de Maestro de Educación Primaria, en relación a la gestión y creación de contenidos. Esta competencia tiene una importancia creciente en la actualidad y como tal requiere una especial atención en el ámbito educativo. Se ha empleado una metodología descriptivainterpretativa (ex post facto) usando para la recogida de datos un cuestionario (denominado COTACREA) dirigido al alumnado de la Universidad de León. Los resultados de la investigación indican que los encuestados, más de trescientos estudiantes, se consideran poco competentes en creación de contenidos, especialmente en diseño de páginas web, bases de datos y usan con poca frecuencia edición y grabación audiovisual. Sí se consideran capacitados en el manejo de Procesadores de Textos y Presentaciones. Un 90% desconocen las licencias Creative Commons y dependiendo de sus intereses descargan o buscan material de internet (principalmente videos) sin preocuparse por los derechos de autor. Se encuentran ocho factores que suponen el 68,775% de la varianza. Estos factores encontrados son bastante numerosos y permiten intuir una realidad en la que influyen muchas variables. El alumnado no presenta el perfil de prosumidor; resulta llamativa la escasez de programadores. Es importante la fuerte concordancia de estos resultados con las investigaciones revisadas y que las mejoras en esta dimensión suponen un reto de futuro. Sin embargo, es importante considerar que los resultados reflejan la autopercepción de los sujetos.

The objective of this research is to describe the self-perception of students starting Primary Education Degree have about their capacity to create and manage contents. This capacity has become our society in something fundamental and constitutes an appropriate educational task. This study has employed a descriptive-interpretative and ex post facto methodology, using a questionnaire (COTACREA) for the data addressed from University of León. After collecting data of more than three hundred students over several years, results of research indicate that the students in the sample are scarcely competent in content creation, especially databases, web design and poor use recording / editing of audio and video. They are self-considered competent mainly with Word Processors and Presentations. 90% are unaware of Creative Commons licenses and depending on their interests download or search for Internet material (mainly videos) without thinking about copyright. There are eight factors that explain 68.775% of the variance. The factors found are quite numerous and allow intuiting a reality influenced by many variables. The students do not present the profile of the prosumer and don’t worry for Copyright; the shortage of programmers is striking. It is important the strong agreement of these results with the researches reviewed and that the improvements in this dimension pose a challenge for the future. However, it is important to remember that results show self-perception of the participants.
