El exilio como sendero del ser

Abstract

De manera tradicional solemos definir la metafísica como la ciencia del Ser como Ser. Para Ortega y Gasset la Metafísica es construcción del Mundo con la circunstancia. Para Zambrano la metafísica hunde sus raíces en la propia vida humana, se sustenta más concretamente en el sentir, en el sentirse mirado, sin saber por quién ni cómo. El ser no es una pregunta, es una respuesta. De este modo, Zambrano propone una Metafísica diferente frente a la Metafísica tradicional. En el exilio encontramos la figura que lo define.

In a traditional way we usually define metaphysics as the science of Being as Being. For Ortega y Gasset, metaphysics is the construction of the world with circumstance. For Zambrano metaphysics sinks its roots in human life itself, it is sustained more concretely in the feeling, in the feeling of being looked at, without knowing by whom or how. Being is not a question, it is an answer. In this way, Zambrano proposes a different Metaphysics as opposed to traditional Metaphysics. In exile we find the figure that defines him.
