La Escuela Batalla de las Guásimas en el periodo 1972-1976: vivencias y apreciaciones

Abstract

El objetivo del artículo es describir las vivencias afectivas y apreciaciones que justifican la huella socialmente significativa de la escuela Batalla de las Guásimas desde la subjetividad de los docentes y estudiantes del período 1972-1976. Es un estudio de carácter descriptivo; se utilizaron la observación participante no estructurada, encuesta, entrevista y el testimonio de las vivencias individuales. Mediante el análisis de contenido se procesó la información: lista de los ítems, agrupamiento y codificación e identificación de nexos y connotaciones. Se corrobora la relevancia de este centro en la experiencia de vida de la población estudiada: las nociones consagración, compromiso y preparación para la vida y los calificativos maravillosa, hermosa e inolvidable, confirman la positividad de las vivencias afectivas.

The article contains the result of a descriptive study of the affective experiences and appreciations that support the socially significant influence of the Batalla de las Guásimas School in the subjectivity of its 1972-1976 teachers and students. The study relied on techniques such as non-structured participant observation, survey, interview, and testimony of individual experiences. The information was processed by means of content analysis: list of items, grouping and coding, and identification of links and connotations. The study corroborates the relevance of this school in the life experience of the studied population. The notions of consecration, commitment and preparation for life and the qualifications wonderful, beautiful, and unforgettable, confirm the positive affective experiences.
