In this document we present a proposed approach to the complexity of learning and education in the digital age. The purpose of creating the Global Framework of Competence for Learning in the Digital Age and the Global Framework of Competence for Education in the Digital Age is to establish a holistic approach to the two most relevant processes for individuals and societies in the twenty first century, with the aim of providing a tool to analyse both learning and education for the individual and collective improvement of both processes.
