Reflexiones etnográficas de una experiencia en Massawa, Eritrea

Abstract

El siguiente trabajo pretende exponer a través de las notas de campo, el papel de la investigadora en el proceso etnográfico de recogida e interpretación de la información, y a la vez, apunta algunos resultados emergentes del proceso de observación participante y entrevistas individuales llevadas a cabo con mujeres eritreanas (África) en el contexto de una ONG. En los resultados emergentes resalta a) la emergencia de subjetividades diversas entre investigadora e informantes, la autoridad de la etnógrafa, la representación del "otro"; así como la cuestión de la construcción de las identidades de las mujeres eritreanas.

The following work seeks to explain through field notes the role of the researcher in the ethnographic process of collecting and interpreting information and, at the same time, describing results that emerged during the process of participant observation and individual interviews made with Eritrean women (African) in the context of an ONG. In the emerging results a) the emergency of the diverse subjectivities between the researcher and informants, the authority of the ethnography, the representation of the “other”, as well as the question of the construction of the identities of the Eritrean women.
