Microarquitecturas a medida. Experiencia de arquitectura social

Abstract

Como proyectistas, podemos centrar nuestra atención en un tema fundamental entre otros muchos, el tema de la arquitectura entendida como vestido para el cuerpo. Como respuesta a nuestras necesidades básicas, que actúa como una tercera piel, a la que se asocia la idea de organismo arquitectónico de pequeñas dimensiones. Estudiar el habitar, centrándose en sus dimensiones mínimas, tiene sentido no tanto para una situación habitacional estable, sino desde la transitoriedad. La demanda de residencias temporales impulsa a la investigación proyectual a concentrase en la escala humana, en un modo de habitar basado en las acciones que el cuerpo humano realiza; partiendo de que bienestar y calidad no se basan en la cantidad de espacio implicado, sino en sus facilidades de uso. La custom small house es un microcosmos, una investigación sobre el espacio mínimo, sobre estructuras a medida, que se pregunta cómo puede la célula base convertirse en organismo social.

As designers we focus our attention, among many others, on the theme of architecture as a body suit, in the sense of an architecture that respond to primary needs, as a “third skin”. This objective is bonded to the concept of a small dimension architecture.Understanding the living within micro-architectures unfolds the meaning of transitory-living as alternative to the settled- living .The investigation of transitory house urges to concentrate the research in the design sphere on the human scale, on the way of living focused on the activities that the human body performs. The well-being and quality do not lie in the quantity of space involved but in the facilities.The customized tiny house is a microcosm, is a survey on minimal space, on tailored configurations, and it is a question on how the customization of small houses can become the basic unit of a social organism.
